Outland (June 2017) Joined the FBI after a long absence from funk enforcement. During those dark years without slammin bass and juicy guitar she was undercover in jazz and blues bands. The 'hellfire of vocal dominance', is the very least, of what Outland brings to the table. Occasionally added digital vocal effects and strapping on a guitar her motivation will impress. Most definitely, the people will be satisfied, after she takes her game, to her highest level of Whoa!

Agent Boogie

Kathy started out playing piano and in her early teens she fell in love with the guitar. Her first band was in high school where she started playing lead guitar to 70's rock tunes.

Kathy attended Cal State Northridge as a classical guitar music major but eventually left and joined an all girl pop band where she took on the bass guitar position in the band. The group traveled playing music venues in Las Vegas, Reno, and other Cities.

She spent many years thereafter playing guitar or bass in 60's, country rock, and 80's rock cover bands. She also performed solo playing numerous original tunes. In the 90's she stepped into the bluegrass guitarist position with the Lonesome Doves playing large venues like Bumpershoot in Seattle WA. Out of all the musical styles Kathy has played, performing surf guitar music has been the most challenging. She headed up the 3 piece surf band The Mudskippers playing classic car shows and a variety of other venues.

One notable moment in her musical journey was performing in front of Glen Frey from the Eagles who complemented her bass playing skills.

Kathy insists “There’s no better music to dance to than FUNK”! Being the newest member in FBI, Kathy is excited to bring her experience to enhance the sounds of this talented group of musicians.

Agent MadDog

Agent Mad Dog started his journey into the low end in grade school when he “forgot” his trumpet. The band leader gave him a Baritone to play as “punishment”, and he loved it. He continued with the Baritone through High School. During that time he was introduced to Bass Guitar and played for a short while with “Sing Out Salem”, an “Up With People” spin off. After High School he entered the Service (Retired from the Navy) and had to lay down the Bass.

45 years later he picked it up again and has been going strong since. He has played in a wide variety of bands, from Gospel, Jazz, and Classic Rock, to Country Swing. But Funk, that’s where it’s at, and he has finally found his genre.

On Stage:
